Kicking off our first this season of our new OCH Film Club we will be celebrating Women in Film.

Thelma & Louise (1991) is a seminal road movie about two best friends—timid housewife Thelma (Geena Davis) and independent waitress Louise (Susan Sarandan)—who go on a weekend trip to escape their mundane lives.
After Louise shoots a man attempting to rape Thelma at a bar, they become fugitives, embarking on a desperate, empowering, and tragic flight toward Mexico, ultimately choosing freedom over surrender.
