Old Courthouse Film Club – The Prime Minister

This season of our OCH Film Club we will be celebrating Women in Film.

Prime Minister (2025) is an intimate documentary following Jacinda Ardern’s tumultuous five-year tenure as New Zealand’s leader, detailing her rise to power, pregnancy in office, and handling of major crises like the Christchurch shootings and COVID-19. Directed by Michelle Walshe and Lindsay Utz, it utilizes behind-the-scenes footage filmed by her husband, Clarke Gayford.
